Claude Cowork is Anthropic's agentic work assistant. Unlike conversational Chat, Cowork lets Claude complete work on its own: describe the outcome and cadence, and it takes action while keeping you informed, then delivers the finished result. Power through tedious tasks—organize and rename files, turn receipts/invoices/screenshots into formatted spreadsheets, and combine company templates with source materials to produce branded reports and decks. With scheduled tasks, you define the cadence once and Claude handles it daily, weekly, or monthly—check email every morning, pull metrics, or run a weekly Slack digest. Now generally available for enterprise. Supports macOS, Windows, and Linux (beta). Manage tasks remotely via persistent thread on iOS/Android (Pro/Max plans). Plugin support and in-place draft editing included. As of July 2026, Cowork is available on web and mobile (beta), with sessions and files saved to your cloud account, syncing across devices, and scheduled tasks running with no device online.
